ABSTRACT
During parasitological research of fishes in Lake Superior (USA) in
August-September 1994,
infection with trypanosomes of the blood of sculpins (Cottus ricei
and C. cognatus) was recorded for the first time. The descriptions
of three morphological groups of
the genus Trypanosoma: T. sp. I, found in blood of C.
ricei, T. sp. II and T. sp. III from blood of C.
cognatus, have been provided.
